July 2005 was an important month in the women’s ordination movement. From July 22-24, the second Women’s Ordination Worldwide (WOW) Conference took place at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The day afer the conference, in near-by Ganonoque, a chartered boat and sailed on the St. Lawrence Seaway and was the location of the first Roman Catholic Womenpriests ordination in North America.
