Activist Toolkit

Women’s Ordination Conference is a global movement
that advocates for women’s ordination into a

renewed priestly ministry
in the Roman Catholic Church.

We are activists, advocates, theologians, parish workers, educators, and ministers who work tirelessly to bring our message of gender equality to the Vatican and beyond.

We believe transformation and renewal in our Church will come from informed Catholics taking action. The inequality of women in the Church perpetuates and contributes to the subordination of women and girls around the world. Imagine the effects on policy, education, ministry, and women’s lives if the Catholic Church truly modeled equality!

We strive to be prophetic, visible, dialogical and theological in our efforts and are uncompromising in our mission for women’s ordination – join us!

We are ready to break the silence, break bread, and break down the doors that keep women outside Church leadership. #OrdainWomen

Like Mary who freely gave her yes to God to bear Christ for the world, women who are called to priesthood yearn to respond with a yes to sacramental ministry to the people of our Church. #OrdainWomen

Write to vocations directors

Sending emails to vocations directors for dioceses & orders across the country (and across the world) is one of the best ways to keep the cause of women’s ordination on their minds—and in their inboxes! We’ve put together templates to help you draft, whether you feel called to ordination, support women and non-binary people who do, or both.
