Giving Together, To get her Ordained

As a small organization with a big mission, when you give to the Women’s Ordination Conference, your donation will have an outsized impact on our efforts and will be put to work right away to advance women’s ordination and gender justice in the Roman Catholic Church. Thank you for the support you can give to WOC this year.

There are many ways you can support WOC; please explore how you can empower the movement for women’s ordination to a renewed priesthood here.

Your gift to WOC supports our uncompromising efforts for women’s ordination and our dynamic programs, including:

  • Creative witnesses and direct actions as part of the Ministry of Irritation, calling for full sacramental equality through effective and compelling grassroots activism.
  • Our presence at the United Nations where we challenge the unholy influence of the Holy See on international human rights, particularly calling out the Holy See as an entity that does not practice gender equality, yet works to influence gender policies.
  • Educational resources and videos, such as expanding our “Women’s Ordination 101” toolkit and deepening the impact of our social media efforts, including on TikTok and YouTube.
  • Young Feminist Network trainings: We noticed a growing need among our younger members for dedicated spaces to connect, question, organize, and support one another. We plan to offer media, theology, and movement-building trainings to our young activists in early 2022.
  • Outreach to Spanish-speaking and Latinx Catholics. We strive to offer all of our resources in Spanish through our Escuchando a las mujeres project. Our small team maintains dedicated Spanish-language social media accounts, engages mujerista theologians and activists, and offers regular listening sessions… but there is always more we can do to expand our efforts.

And so much more. With your generosity and support the movement for women’s ordination can only grow!
Thank you for believing in our work.
