Pittsburgh and Switzerland Ordinations
July 2005 was an important month in the women's ordination movement. From July 22-24, the Second Ecumenical Women's Ordination Worldwide (WOW) Conference took place at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The day afer the conference, in near-by Ganonoque, a chartered boat and sailed on the St. Lawrence Seaway and was the location of the first nine ordination of the Roman Catholic Womenpriests in North America.
