World Day of Prayer Activist Packet
World Day of Prayer for Women’s Ordination
March 25, 2002
“Women Saying Yes to God!”

On March 25, the World Day of Prayer for Women’s Ordination, WOC joins women’s ordination supporters around the world to celebrate “Women saying Yes to God!” Each year WOC sponsors public events and prayerful protests supporting women’s ordination across the United States on this celebrated day. Many local groups organize public witnesses, home liturgies, and lectures about women’s ordination.

Join the movement! WOC has developed a new World Day of Prayer Activist Packet with resources to help you organize a March 25th celebration. Contact Joy Barnes, WOC Program Director, to receive your free “Activist Packet.” Contact her at grassroots@womensordination.org and be sure to include your mailing address.

Activist Packets include:
- A liturgy for the World Day of Prayer for Women’s Ordination
- A “how-to” guide for organizing public events and prayerful protests
- Tips for attracting local media - Resources regarding the issue of women’s ordination
- A World Day of Prayer Merchandise Order Form

Organizing a World Day of Prayer activity? Make sure your event is publicized on WOC’s list of World Day of Prayer Events.
