I would like to pass on to Fr. Roy Bourgeois the support of Catholic Women's Ordination, UK. Many of our members have emailed him already, I believe, but as the CWO representative for Women's Ordination Worldwide, I have been asked to pass on the support from our organisation.

 

We are totally impressed with his integrity and courage and pray that his prophetic witness will be a sign for others to follow, especially members of religious orders and other male priests. Only they can fully appreciate what he is sacrificing, but we are praying for Father Roy that he will have the peace of mind and courage to do what he has do. Thank you to Father Roy on behalf of the Church Universal and especially on behalf of those of us called to priestly ministry as women.
